Following a meeting of the Mycological Society of America in 2019, I took it upon myself to create a logo for the Stajich Lab in the interest of unifying our diverse research interests under a single brand.

The color scheme is based on the official UC Riverside colors (gold and blue). The main feature of the logo is a cladogram that frames images of the various fungi that Stajich lab members research.

As a GFI fellow, I was tasked with generating Spanish-language science communication content. The video here is about insect-vectored plant pathogens and their effect on the agricultural industry.

In 2020, just before the pandemic hit the states, I had the opportunity to be the microbiology program's graduate ambassador. This involved making the accompanying video as a way to tell prospective grad students more about our program and the types of research taking place at UCR.

In the summer of 2020, I was invited by the Mentoring Summer Research Internship Program (MSIRP) to produce a video that would introduce undergraduates to a lab protocol or technique, given that labwork was limited as a result of the pandemic

In 2018, I was a finalist for the UCR GradSlam competition. Grad students are given three minutes to give a TedTalk style presentation to a general audeince.

In place of a lecture, I opted to produce this video to orient students to a lab activity.
